Advent 2025 Schedule and Sermon Titles

The gospel of Luke’s story of the birth of Jesus begins with the words, “In the time of Herod…” This may seem insignificant, but it’s a clue for us that this story unfolds in a time of rampant oppression, economic disparity, uncertainty and instability. Yet throughout the story we hear whispers of “Do not fear.” What do you fear? We can easily allow fear to take over our very lives, if we let it. During Advent we’ll look at our fears and find ways to face them together.
