Watchman May 2025
May marks a meaningful moment in CCH’s journey as the congregation prepares to vote on Rev. Dr. Amy Butler as the next Settled Pastor. Pastor Amy’s message centers on the power of resurrection and transformation beyond Easter Sunday, encouraging the community to embrace change with open hearts.
This issue highlights the church’s vibrant spiritual life and events: reflections on pilgrimage, ongoing work on key church policies, the success of the $2,800 Bake Sale, and Aloha Hour celebrations. It also introduces new choir members Ryoko and Nick, updates from the Community Connections Committee, and the continuation of CCH’s Open and Affirming (ONA) journey.
Camp Mokulēʻia registration is open for the July 4–6 retreat, and Francis Wong is offering a special cooking class. CCH remains an active, faith-filled community with room for joy, reflection, and service.
